“Thank you to NetGalley, Sourcebooks Fire and Jessica Lacy for allowing me to ARC read this amazing book! I am a long time fan of Jessica's books (ever since she was Ivy Tholen) and I actually read this amazing book when it was originally called Mother Dear. I thoroughly enjoyed the book then and I loved it just as much as Fatally Yours! Fatally Yours is such a unique slasher and there are lots of comedy moments throughout the book as well! It is a great time start to finish! I recommend this to anyone slasher reader!”

“Fatally Yours is a chaotic, unhinged and over the top slasher thriller, it was so crazy but it ended up being a good time. It is meant to have some dark comedy aspect and I think the author achieved her goal. I went into it not expecting to enjoy it as it is not my typical read and came out absolutely entertained. The book doesn't take itself too seriously and if you go into it with that mentality you'll enjoy it! The characters were truly the highlight for me, I can't say that I liked any of them really, because they were so exaggerated, but I think that's what made them stick out. The kills were so well done, they were gory, original, funny and absurd which I truly enjoyed. There's some twists and turns that got me in the end that I thought were well done. Overall, it's a fun, entertaining and absolutely crazy ride. If you go into it not expecting anything realistic you will definitely enjoy it. It doesn't take itself seriously and is here for pure enjoyment. ✨️ Thank you to @sourcebooksfire & @bloodandlacy for my gifted copy.”

“Unfortunately, I dnf'd this book at 12%. I really wanted to enjoy this book, but I just can't get into the writing style. I didn't like the way the characters were described - it felt very stiff to me, and the dialogue was also awkward. The story seems like it's a very cool concept, and the cover is GORGEOUS, but sadly this book just isn't for me.”
