“This was weird woke Amish propoganda that I willingly choose to read”
“My friends and I read this one for our book club. It was less cringey than I imagined, mostly realistic, and decently paced. The guy in the book wasn't a bad guy at all, which is disappointing because I was hoping for a scandal. I didn't like the way new characters were introduced. We got their entire backstory right when we met them, then they fell into the background. We never got much action from them - just a lot of telling instead of showing. Overall, the story was a sweet, forgettable romance between two average people.”
“was expecting much worse but please no more silly book club recs”
About Emma Miller
Emma Miller lives quietly in her old farmhouse in rural Delaware amid fertile fields and lush woodlands. Fortunate enough to be born into a family of strong faith, she grew up on a dairy farm, surrounded by loving parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. Emma was educated in local schools, and once taught in an Amish schoolhouse much like the one at Seven Poplars. When she's not caring for her large family, reading and writing are her favorite pastimes.
