Fairy and Folk Tales of the Irish Peasantry Reviews

3.5
“I read the abridged version as part of the Irish Folk and Fairy Tales box set. this is 3rd book out of the 5 in that box set and so far its the best one! while the language can be difficult and I definitely struggled through the old English sections of the book, the stories themselves were fun and enjoyable. I really enjoyed how the book was broken up by the various Creature sub-species as it allowed you to sink into the stories knowing what to look out for. There's some beautiful stories in this compilation of tales and if you love fairytales & magical creatures of the celtic variety you canr go wrong!”
