“I enjoyed this book. The pace was steady, and it always felt like the plot was moving along instead giving us a lot of bad purple prose or boring setting descriptions. I think it's sufficiently different from Jurassic Park despite the very similar setting (a resort featuring formerly extinct animals on display for visitors). Definitely leans a lot more into politics, business, and shady ethical practices than JP. If you picked this up hoping to see a lot of animals in the park, you would be disappointed. As a side note, I read the audiobook version of this, and the accent work from the narrator is not very good (not factored into my rating here). Unfortunately for him, this is an international cast of characters and I think the performance does take away from the audio experience a bit.”PoorMSW

there are some issues with the writing
the story makes assumptions
there is a breeze over of activity within the storyline
