“This was a quick read for sure. Fast paced and flowed nicely. I wouldn’t say it had me on the edge of my seat by any means, but I was interested in how it was going to end. Definitely a plot twist or two that I wasn’t expecting, but nothing jaw dropping. The antagonist was on my list of potential suspects, but I wouldn’t call the outcome predictable, and there was a good amount of detail and depth to it. Overall, I enjoyed this one—good palate cleanser from all my festive reads.”
