“I could not put this series down. I was not ready for all the choices that Layla had to make and for Abbot to do what he did. JLA is so good at HEA but definitely making her characters work for it. The ending though, Morris and the boss? I mean I’m hoping that means we will get more of Layla and Roth down the line and Morris was something I never even thought twice about. The heartache was rough but the eternity ever after just made my heart melt! JLA has an amazing way with her world building and as we have seen with FBAA and FAF she can create these fantasy worlds and do it amazingly but she can also take modern day places and place the fantastical inside it and it feels no less extraordinary!”
