“This was like a modern retelling of Romeo and Juliette. Two families are at war with one another. The disappearance of one families son and the others daughter brings two people together.
Marjorie and Nicos has to work together to find their respective siblings. Marjorie wants to resolve the issues between the families and Nicos has other motives for helping Marjorie. The book is the story of their journey from enemies to friends to perhaps something more…
This book was beautifully written. The reader was drawn into the story. The book was easy to read and had some memorable moments between the characters.

“(I received an ARC for this book)
There’s a long history of heartbreak and pain between MJ and Nikos families. So when they need to work together to locate their ‘missing’ siblings, there’s a lot on the line. MJ is ready to bury the hatchet and prove past the hatred between their families, while Nikos is a little apprehensive about. There’s a lot of pride involved, just like the pride that has been continue the feud for all these years. Nikos agrees to help MJ when she dangles a family heirloom in front of him. Along their trek to hunt down their siblings, and figure out what is going on, Nikos starts to understand why MJ just wants everything to come to an end. His icy heart starts to melt, and he starts to see MJ for more than just her family name. They’re kindred spirits, like minded. All the truths start to come out, and it nearly buries their budding relationship alive. This is a little bit Romeo and Juliet, and a little bit Sherlock. This had all the right hot and steamy angst leading up to the sexual tension snapping…but it came with a fade to black. In fact, all of the interactions that had all the right build up, were essentially fade to black.
