Ernest Hemingway was one of the most influential writers of the 20th century, known for his distinctive prose style and his exploration of the human condition. Hemingway's early books all explore the disillusionment of the lost generation in the aftermath of World War One. His breath taking economical style shook up the literary field and made him a giant of literature.
