“So my first foray into Iron Man comics was when I was very young. We had a single Iron Man comic in the house. I could not tell you what it was about, other than I remember being scandalized because one panel had Tony in a bath with a mostly naked woman (might have been fully naked, but cleverly hidden).
Then came the MCU.
Robert Downy Jr will always be Tony Stark for me. Always.
So coming to this book....
I think this would have been a better Mandarin story than we got in the third Iron Man movie. However, I could very much hear Eoin Colfer's writers voice in this novel, and that wasn't always a good thing. I mean it was good, but sometimes it was just SO Eoin Colfer.
All in all I liked it. It killed hours at work and kept me entertained.
The performance, as this was a graphic audio, was really enjoyable.
I look forward to more.”
