About Professor Tong Lin

Professor Tong Lin received his PhD from the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1998. After several years of postdoctoral research in Australia and USA, he joined Deakin University in 2003, where he is now a Professor and an expert in the preparation and applications of functionlised fibrous materials in both textile and non-textile areas. He is also the Associate Director for the Australian Future Fibre Research and Innovation Centre. Prof is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and recipient of the 2016 International Association of Advanced Materials Medal.

Dr Jian Fang

Dr Jian Fang is a Research Fellow at the Institute for Frontier Materials at Deakin University in Geelong, Australia with an active research interest in advanced textile technology, in particular electro-active fibrous materials for biosensing, water deionization and energy devices.
