“I was first introduced to Anne of Green Gables as an adult, and though I love her, I only ever read the first book in her series. I recently purchased the Emily trilogy for my 13 year old daughter, who is a writer, and decided to read this first one myself.
I love Emily, and the depth of the characters in her life drew me from the start. There is a grace to be found in the recognition of good and bad in each, of side-by-side flaws and virtues, that elevates this story in my mind even above Anne's. As an artist/writer myself, I resonate deeply with Emily's keen spiritual awareness of life, her love of beauty and words, and the way she vibrantly and sensitively navigates relationships. HSP's would especially appreciate Emily, I think.
Highly recommended.”

“Emily of New Moon is such a delightful treasure. I only wish that I had discovered it as a child. I would recommend this beautifully written novel to anyone and everyone. Emily is a reminder of what it is like to dream of the seemingly unattainable and to believe in oneself.”
