“An intriguing premise that unfortunately is made less intriguing by the grand “reveal” at the end, which serves more to cover up the less believable parts of the story than to actually satisfy the reader’s curiosity. Still, the story is definitely not what I expected and I give it tremendous praise for that. Despite the groan-worthy ending, it’s always enjoyable in the moment and a fast read; definitely worth your time.”RobLovesBooks

“Not bad considering the age of the story. The characters were vividly painted and the story was fairly straightforward. There were parts I liked, there were parts I didn't. Overall, an interesting book.”
About Tanith Lee
Tanith Lee (1947–2015) was a legend in science fiction and fantasy writing. She wrote more than 90 novels and 300 short stories, and was the winner of multiple World Fantasy Awards, a British Fantasy Society Derleth Award, the World Fantasy Lifetime Achievement Award, and the Bram Stoker Award for Lifetime Achievement in Horror.
