Mike Simmons is a straight-laced security consultant trying to build a business and raise two small children on his own. Georgie Walters, the free-spirited creator of cheeky treats has made Getta Piece Bakery a Chicago staple. She a member of one of the most powerful families in the city. 

When Georgie hires Mike's company to handle her security needs, he walks into her tiny shop, nervous but clearly intrigued. Attracted to this buttoned-up man, Georgie can't resist getting a rise out of him. But as irresistible as Georgie is, Mike has a hard time believing she is the kind of woman he needs.
