“Typical non-communication trope. There wouldn't be a book without it though. I feel like this could have been condensed to about 200 pages and it would have been better.
It's easy to read and I enjoyed the Napa Valley setting (gotta love wine country!) but I had a hard time connecting with the plot.
To be fair, I am a mood reader and I just don't think I was in the mood for this book. It's not that it was bad, it was just fine in general.”
