“It feels so good to be back in the Narrows, I missed this world! We're back on Jeval, where everything started, following Willa and Koy on their uphill battle of establishing a port. As always, beautifully written by Adrienne Young. Willa is such a strong and inspiring character while she's trying to carve out her own path away from the Marigold. And Koy .. wow. What a character development, I didn't really care for him in Fable, but here he was solid, loyal and kind of sweet, a word I never thought I would use to describe him. My only complain is that this book was WAY too short, I wished it had 200 pages more. But the ending gives me hope that there are a lot of stories left to be told in this world.
