Publisher Description

When sparks start flying, these total opposites discover Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year.

To raise enough money to start her own business, Nola Bennett needs to sell “The Castle,” her beloved grandmother’s historic house and get back home to the city. But Heart Lake’s most eligible bachelor is insisting she hang on to the property. He may be one of the hottest, grumpiest men she’s ever seen, but Nola has no time to pine over her high school crush.

All woodworker Tanner Dean wants for Christmas is some peace and quiet, but that’s not going to happen with infuriating, irresistible Nola Bennett back in town. How can he persuade her to keep The Castle out of the hands of greedy developers when sizzling attraction flares every time they’re together? And the more time he spends with Nola, the harder it becomes to picture a future without her—unless he can convince her, once and for all, that Heart Lake is exactly where she belongs.

Includes the bonus novella The Christmas Wish by Melinda Curtis!

“Nola is a successful business woman in Chicago who comes back to heart lake to sell her grandmother's house. Tanner is Nolas' best friends brother. He runs the family company now that their dad can no longer do so, but it's not his passion. Both are god parents to Rosie's twins, Can they learn to get along not only for the kids, but for each other? This was the Hallmark type Christmas book I needed in my life. It was the perfect amount of warm and fuzzy, tension and Witty banter between the characters. You could feel the sparks from page one, and it definitely left me wanting more from the small town of heartlake.”
“Dreaming of a Heart Lake Christmas actually takes place in Heart Lake, MI, which is only about 30 minutes north of our family cabin….so of course while we were up there recently, I had to make a pit stop at the lake and drive through what I assumed would be a downtown to see how close the book was to reality…the lake is there, but there is no downtown”
“Dreaming of a Heart Lake Christmas begins like many Hallmark movies do. The woman, Magnolia (Nola), moves away to the big city. She needs to come back to her home town to clean up an prepare her grandma's house for sale. Tanner is Nola's best friends sister. They have always had a strained relationship, but their bickering has always been "fun", and unbeknownst to each other they have always had crushes on each other, but never acted on them. When they get stuck together in a snow storm, they act on their passions and Nola and Tanner need to decide if they want to keep their lives the same, or throw chaos into their lives for a chance at love. This was a quick and light read that I could not put down. It was a cute rom-com-esque book by Sarah Robinson. She writes a great romance with all the quaintness of a small town. You have failing businesses, unique characters (including side characters) and the all so perfect snow storm. I loved the main characters, Nola and Tanner, and even though you knew they would ultimately get a happily ever after, it was interesting to see how they got there. I also really liked the personal growth that we saw in both Nola and Tanner in this book, realizing that you can plan things, but have to ready and willing to change when presented with an opportunity. This was an adorable Christmas read that would be a perfect read this holiday season.Thank you to NetGalley and Forever publishing for a copy of this book. All opinions are 100% mine.”
