The chemistry between Marfil and Sebastian is pure fire. It starts as a "grumpy/sunshine" dynamic where she resents his strict rules, but as the danger lurking in the shadows gets closer, their forced proximity turns into an addictive, slow-burn romance that I couldn't put down.
What I loved most was the atmosphere—it’s lush, suspenseful, and darkly romantic. Mercedes Ron has a way of writing internal conflict that makes you feel every bit of Marfil’s fear and Sebastian’s dangerous discipline.
