ByPublisher Description
Semi, Miranda, and Arnie are part of a group of 50 British Young Conservationists on their way to a wildlife conservation station deep in the rain forests of Ecuador. After a terrifying mid-air disaster and subsequent crash, these three are the sole survivors, stranded together on a deserted tropical island. Or so they think. Semi, Miranda, and Arnie stumble into the hands of Dr. Franklin, a mad scientist who’s been waiting for them, eager to use them as specimens for his experiments in genetic engineering.

“Such a weird book.
I was actually excited for this book based off of the description but the direction of the story took a whole other turn.
The characters were pretty flat, the description of the environment was subpar, the plot was too scrambled.
The biggest complaint I had was how repetitive the characters attempts at leaving were - they tried to escape about 3 or 4 times and it was always ended the same. I was not a fan of any of the characters, maybe Miranda, but that’s it. There was no fluidity in the plot or chain of events. Everything was choppy and meh.
This has been my lowest rated book so far this year and last. I read it quickly as I am a quick reader and I pledged to not DNF a book but this book was just not it for me.”
