“I picked this up thinking that it was about the US justice system not the UK, so I thought I would have more knowledge about it, but I definitely didn’t mind once the story got into it. I did not see the twist coming (and I love an unreliable narrator — I thought that was well done). The beginning was a little bit slow but once it hit about halfway, I couldn’t put it down. The ending felt anticlimactic though and I wanted more finality.”
