“I am glad this was such a fast paced book. I spent the majority of it in suspense, holding my breath, and periodically reminding myself to breathe.
From the very beginning when CJ was alone and trying to evade Trinity to almost the very end, there was non - stop action and suspense. The mystery was finding out who exactly was in charge of Trinity.
After CJ hooked up with Cole and Declan's Defenders, the twists, turns, action and surprises were almost non stop. I didn't expect so much to be crammed into this one book. There were also a couple of steamy scenes between Cole and CJ.
The only thing that bothered me a little was how fast Cole and CJ came together. This is the first book I have read in this series, so there may be some backstory that I missed. I know they had met previously, but I wasn't clear on how much they were involved.
I enjoyed this book and will have to backtrack to see if the previous books are as good. I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy of this book.”
