““I didn’t want to be priest; I needed to. To be with people in their pain and suffering. To preach and listen – listen, primarily, to God, who often speaks through the most surprising people.”
Enjoyed how candid this was! The life of a priest is certainly not an easy one. I liked the format: journal entries starting from January and ending in December. Writing kept you engaged, offering you insights on not only his experience in ministry but also the broader role of the Church in our society.
