Teri Falco has worked hard to build her career as a magician and illusionist, but she's never reached the level of success her grandfather did before WWII. She can't help but wonder why. Did he have extra help, of a super-natural kind?

When the U.S. Holocaust Museum contacts her with news that some of his belongings have been found, she can't help but hope his "spell book" is part of those items. The Nazis stole everything from the Romany community when they rounded them up for the work camps, and the book disappeared. Many believe it never really existed. And if it does--it's cursed. 

Is this the chance she's waited her whole life for--to achieve her dream of fame and fortune? Is her longing for security and stability--something she never had growing up--about to be reality?

As a curator for the U.S. Holocaust Museum, Nick Jurrell has traveled the world, working to preserve the heritage of his Romany ancestry. He's always sought acceptance from that part of his family and hopes finding the Great Gypsy Mystic's precious belongings will give him a rightful place with the Romany community. 

When sparks fly between Teri and Nick as the book comes between them, is it their attraction to each other, or the book's power? Will the past save them, or destroy them?
