“I listened to this as an audio book and don’t recommend that. The book it philosophy and science throughout and if you loose focus for a minute you will be lost which is what kept happening to me.
The premise of this book is very good just the execution wasn’t what I wanted none of the characters really made me care for them but I didn’t hate them either. I just needed something to get me really invested in the story and it didn’t quite hit me.
Also I will say this book jumps from one perspective to another all the time and that threw me off constantly.
Not bad just needed something a little more to keep my interest I may be a little disappointed because I absolutely love dune and was kinda expecting to love this too”

“Frank Herbert created an amazing world and throws you head first into it. Questions of morality, ethics, religion, and consciousness are all tied into the development of a true, independent AI.
A lot of the technical jargon went over my head, but it all felt important and necessary for the plot development.”
