Desa Bandarejo adalah sebuah desa yang berada di wilayah Kabupaten Semarang. Desa ini terkenal karena lingkungannya yang berhawa sejuk karena terletak di lereng Gunung Ungaran. Banyak jenis fauna yang sedap dipandang mata. Asal-usul desa ini bermula dari kisah seorang ulama yang bernama Kyai Hasan Munadi. Dahulu, Kyai Hasan Munadi menyebarkan ajaran agama Islam di wilayah Semarang hingga ke Ungaran. Kyai Hasan Munadi melanjutkan perjalanan menuju sebuah perkampungan di dekat desa tadi yang ternyata belum bernama. Kyai Hasan Munadi melihat ada sekelompok orang sedang berkumpul di perkampungan tersebut.
