Thumbs Up“Good origin story for the Darkling. I would recommend reading after Shadow and Bone!”
“a short but satisfying prequel to the shadow and bone series. i found this really helped make aleksander a more complex, sympathetic character, and this story helps gives readers a better sense of the kind of life the grisha were living before he became the darkling. the art and coloring was excellent as well.”
Surprised Face with Open Mouth“It was genuinely a very interesting plot line, the art was amazing and I loved the characters! It was pretty fast paced, but still went into detail. It might have not been favorite, but it was still a good book. I wish there was more moments with dramatic things going on, another turning point or a big event..But it was still a good read.”
