Publisher Description
Demian is a psychological masterpiece of modern literature. This novel explores the duality of human nature and the alienation of man's soul. A powerful coming of age story that continues to inspire generations of readers in its exploration of good and evil, morality, and self-discovery. A young man awakens to selfhood and to a world of possibilities beyond the conventions of his upbringing. “I think Hesse and Lispector would get along well.”

“I was inspired to read this after completing th albums of BTS which are 'The most beautiful moments of life' and 'wings' and when I read it, I couldn't believe it was a classic normally we expect classics to be pretty boring and not satisfying enough but surprisingly 'Demian' is very modern minded, it is like a brief description of us, of how loving ourself, knowing ourselves, facing ourselves is important, like it's a chief's kiss. amazing, really mind blown, like props to Kim Namjoon, he has the best choices.”
