Dearly Departed (Harlot's Bay, #2)
ByPublisher Description
From Olivia Dade's newsletter: "Right now it's called Dearly Departed and it involves a cranky baker named Karl; the one woman he never got over (who—two decades later—narrates erotic romance audiobooks for a living); and a very mistaken obituary that brings the two former schoolmates back together."

“I enjoyed this book it was fun and sweet and I love second chance romance tropes. I liked that we get to see characters from the first book I always love that. It was overall a good book and super cute.”
“Note that Book 2 is actually called Second Chance Romance. It has its own listing now but I started reading on this listing and I'm not messing up my calendar tracking.
A good second book in this series. Not mind-blowing although I like Karl, Molly and Charlotte. I had higher hopes than what we got but I also like a little more plot in my romances than some so it's still a good read, just very focused on Karl and Molly building trust and less on Charlotte wanting to become an apprentice I thought would shine more in there as it did.”
“i unfortunately wasn't able to connect with the story and characters. the plot that's being advertised doesn't match what's actually written in the book. while reading i wouldn't understand who's perspective i was in and the chapters were way to too long that i just got bored on figuring out who's was talking.”
