Deadly Little Scandals by Jennifer Lynn Barnes digital book - Fable

Publisher Description

No one is quite who they seem to be in the twisty, soapy, gasp-inducing world of the Debutantes by Jennifer Lynn Barnes, #1 bestselling author of The Inheritance Games

Think of the White Gloves like the Junior League— by way of Skull and Bones.

Reluctant debutante Sawyer Taft joined Southern high society for one reason and one reason alone: to identify and locate her biological father. But the answers Sawyer found during her debutante year only left her with more questions and one potentially life-ruining secret.

When her cousin Lily ropes her into pledging a mysterious, elite, and all-female secret society called the White Gloves, Sawyer soon discovers that someone in the group's ranks may have the answers she's looking for. Things are looking up . . . until Sawyer and the White Gloves make a disturbing discovery near the family's summer home—and uncover a twisted secret, decades in the making.

Deadly Little Scandals Reviews

3.5
Surprised Face with Open Mouth“OMG this book!! The plot twists were insanely good and wise, and very chapter was so interesting. In some parts of the book I was so shocked when I read them, and some scenes zero truly so unexpected. I LOVED the characters development, and I loved the group that the girls created. 💕💕I really liked Nick, and I thought that he and Sawyer were soooo cute. 💕💕 The family tree is probably the most confusing thing ever. I’ll miss this world and characters so so much, and I truly love Jennifer Lynn Barnes so freaking much I just want to read more books from her. I wish we got to see more scenes of the girls just having fun, and more scenes of Nick and Sawyer. Chapter 49 was quite sad, but felt realistic and meaningful and to read, “I’m not going to chase you,” he told me. “If you’re too damned scared to let this be real, if I don’t get to matter to you, if I have to let this be nothing for you to stay—then go.” Go. He called after me as I fled. “I’m done playing, Sawyer. If you’re too much of a coward to stay? Don’t come back.” I liked how both Lily and Sawyer grew and changed throughout the two books, and I loved both of them and basically everyone in the end.💕💕”
