“This book was a wild ride. I went into it kind of blind and didn’t really know what to expect! The really loved the idea of this story, and found the characters we’d well fleshed out. However, I did find the authors intentional vagueness to be a bit annoying and sometimes confusing to what was going on. For a while, I felt like I was reading a sequel and missing key information. I also didn’t love the voodoo aspect to the extent it was taken. Still, over all a good read”
