“I hate to say this because I’m sure the authors worked hard to write it but I just didn’t like this book. The characters have no chemistry. The MMC was described as a “touch her and die” protective type. Sure he was that but not in a sexy way. It came off sorta r*pey and insufferable. I couldn’t stand either of them. The world building was non-existent. All we got was bits and pieces of information. The plot had no explanations and no follow through. There were plot holes you could drive a planet through and no questions got answered. The spice grossed me out and didn’t occur til 90% into the book… it just wasn’t good. They only good part was the dinosaurs and the “cliff hanger” at then end was mid at best. I won’t be continuing this series.”
