“This was an okay read not my favorite, but not bad either. I’d say it works well if you’re just trying to boost your reading goal, but I don’t think it’s one I’d flat-out recommend. The miscommunication trope between the FMC and MMC had me ready to throw hands, and honestly, the FMC’s thinking really irked me at times. The romance was cute, but occasionally a little cringy and drawn out.
That said, I did enjoy the Christian elements. It’s not a book that will necessarily help you grow in your walk with God, but it does a good job showing the fruits of the Spirit love, kindness, forgiveness. I also liked the reminder that God is with you in all circumstances and the way He brought the two characters back together in unexpected ways. Overall, a solid, quick read. Nothing mind-blowing, but it has its moments.”
