Publisher Description

Jett Miller is the best. The best friend, the best brother, the best Christmas tree decorator...and the best at getting friend-zoned. Until her. They just clicked. He talked, she laughed, and maybe for the first time in his life he didn't stutter over his words or fall into some weird accent that sent her running the other way. The problem? She works for one of his best friends - a major league All-Star - and lives about 2,000 miles away in sunny Los Angeles. What chance does a small-town sports bar owner from Michigan have with a girl like that?

Zoey Nunez has two main responsibilities: Taking care of her family and taking care of her client. Between her father, her two younger siblings, and her hard-hitting client who is a magnet for trouble, she doesn't have a whole lot of time for romance. Besides, she wants classic romance and chivalry, if it's not completely dead. She wants someone different from all the cocky, self-absorbed men she's so accustomed to. Maybe someone a little too obsessed with tacos and Christmas movies. But men like that don't exist where she's from. No, she's pretty sure that man only exists on the other side of the country.

When the off-season hits and Zoey gets the chance to take a winter wonderland vacation to Northern Michigan,  she's got one thing on her mind: The hunky bar owner who hasn't left her thoughts in months. Was their insta-love moment a thing of true love, or was it just a sizzling obsession that will burn out before the season ends?

“I instantly felt a connection to Zoey the hard-working girl, sipping on gin and tonics falling for the businessman she never intended to. Even the hard-working girls need to take time to kick off her heels and fall head over them in love. This book did that and more. I was cheering for her and Jett and frustrated anytime Quinn interrupted for her to get back to work. Work can wait, this book cannot.”
“I was impatiently waiting for this book to be released as I love the first one in the series. This one did not disappoint and I loved it. I really like how the author kept the characters from the first book in most of the second book. The characters were great and the story flowed very well. I can not wait to read the next book in this series!”
“What chance does a small-town sports bar owner from Michigan have with a girl who works for a major league All-Star and lives about 2,000 miles away in Los Angeles? Zoey and Jett are everything as a couple. They just clicked together. They're spicy hot, caring, loyal, stubborn and so funny. They both have amazing friends all around to make things interesting too. With a few bumps along the way, this one wraps up perfectly at the end! I'm not into sports romance to be honest but definitely loved this one... looking forward to read the previous book. 'Hard Hitter' is the prequel to this book, but you can absolutely read as a standalone. Though I'd recommend reading 'Hard Hitter' first, as it does help with some of the events that are mentioned in the book and also with the characters. The chemistry between him and Zoey is brilliant. They are so freaking adorable together. Interactions between them are I don't know magical? I cannot think of the exact term I want to use here. Loved how Jett and Zoey move slowly at their own pace, but when they get there, they're hot & heavy with loads of sweetness thrown in. I mostly enjoyed that the author didn't make the entire book about just Jett and Zoey, but their personal issues they both dealt with alongside. Overall, it was a light-hearted but steamy romance that I would recommend. PS- So much adult scenes at one point you gonna feel like you're watching it on big screen or actually happening”
“After reading Hard Hitter, and loving it, I was super excited to dive into this one! I love Jett and Zoey, their relationship was so sweet and their personalities really complimented each other! Jett is a golden retriever guy and Zoey is such a confident independent woman. Their story was very relatable, funny and all together heartwarming romance. Plus the perfect amount of smut”
“Review for crowd pleaser This was a story filled with all kinds of feel good moments and likeable characters, located in a small town in snowy Michigan. Zoey, whom was the main character, was very easy to relate to and sympathize with. Jett, who is Zoeys love interest seemed like a very down to earth small town guy whom you really wanted to succeed. The plot had many different elements from love, adult spice, friend quarrels, fun dates, and tender moments. Overall it is a very enjoyable read for anyone into romance novel with some very intimate adult scenes. For me personally I could have done with a bit less of the adult scenes as I felt sometimes there was more of that than actually storyline. With that being said it still was an enjoyable read.”
