“Witty and fun, Crazy For You really is one of my favorites by this author. Full disclosure though, it was first published in 1999 and some of the language certainly reflects that, so reading it in 2026 is a bit jarring.
That being said, this was such a fun re-read! It’s been about thirteen years since I last visited this novel and it didn’t disappoint. Still proud to say I have a crush on Nick Ziegler and will till the day I die. I love Quinn and her desire to shake things up, her hatred of anything stagnant. This really felt like a love letter to all the girls who stayed in their hometown. Like all of Crusie’s books, this has a large cast of characters and is told through multiple POV’s throughout, but it makes for an immersive reading experience.”
