“I loved this more then acotar. I do feel like if ryhs stopped putting on this cruel mask to protect everyone in his court, he might have an easier time getting help for the upcoming wars. But that can always backfire too, looking weak....The world the sjm has carved out is beautiful and it kills me that I can never visit these lands, experience the magic or smells. Each plot point flows into the next perfectly. There are interesting twists and full circle moments. But the characters love for velaris makes the reader truly love it as well, making any threat on it that much more impactful to the reader. The end breaks my heard knowing they will be apart but it's time for some revenge.
