Publisher Description

A desperate mission takes Selena and her friends to the Unseelie Court. But making deals with the cunning fae of that realm is dangerous. When the Unseelie King forces them into a bargain in exchange for the help they so sorely need, they are pulled into a lethal scheme. To survive it, they must beat the Unseelie King at his own game.

However, their chances of making it out alive are slim when the deck is stacked against them and their own strained relationships are causing turmoil within the group. Winning would mean that they are one step closer to taking down the Iceheart Dynasty. But if they lose, it could mean the end of life as they know it.

Secret agendas, hidden truths, and complicated feelings push Selena and her friends to the breaking point. Can they survive this dangerous scheme, or will their ambition cost them everything?

“3.25⭐️ selena 🫩 why babe… trials and games again????? god free me from this trope….i thought i would be done after the first book 😮‍💨 this book was okay, i think i am just sick of the game story line. like once was fine, but more than that??? what i did love about this book was the blooming friendships and future relationships i be clocking 🤭 it was nice to see draven’s and selena’s love for each other grow, but then shit happens ….. overall the storyline though?? 😵‍💫 this definitely feels like a filler book before shit goes down. the ending was decent, i’m excited to see where this takes us! i think and hope the next book’s storyline should be more intriguing! would read again? nah, but next one plz”
“The stakes keep getting higher! This one was full of political manipulation, brutal games, and Selena’s ever evolving emotion magic. I’m here for Selena’s character progression, and watching her now be battling with the moral weight of manipulating emotions has me hooked. I love when a book makes me question everything, from morality to the facts I believe about a world. I wish the pacing had been a bit more consistent. It got a bit slower at times, and therefore lost some of my attention. This series continues to be full of unexpected twists, and the cliffhanger endings are KILLING me. In the best way. I really liked the addition of the Unseelie King. The vibes are definitely changing with him around, and I can’t wait to see what develops with his character now. Especially with Isera. Catch me continuing this series VERY soon.”
