“Oh alright it was fine. I liked reading about the history of marriage but I just couldn’t stand when she talked about her own relationship. Like your fiancé is so wonderful and amazing until he isn’t - but he’s only human!
And I KNOW it’s the point but she was so at war with her damn self it was nearly impossible to read sometimes.
To her credit, she doesn’t talk about her relationship nearly as much as she talks about her research of marriage which made me want to keep reading until the end.
… and all of this talk about marriage only for her to get married in a sweater… pick me girl antics fr”
