“🎧 To be honest, if this wasn't a book club pick I would have DNF'd this. For me, every character in this book was just unlikable and obnoxious, and I found the plot to be boring.”
“This is a warm-hearted feel good book. A little slow start wading through beginning chapters setting the history but it soon became easy to quickly lose myself in the people and relationships. A mix of facing unexpected change and challenges, found family, and personal growth. I listened to the audiobook which was will done and enhanced the experience.”

Beaming Face with Smiling Eyes“This book.is a genuine comfort read. It is filled with strong journeys, strong women, and a strong set of found family and friends. It's a wonderful book for anyone who is facing a major change in a life that has made them complacent. As the characters search for answers to fears, past failures, and uncertain futures, the reader becomes invested in the happiness of all involved. We watch each member of its cast grow and become more self-assured along the path they forge. There are twists and turns that will surprise the reader and keep you turning the pages quickly. The book is a gentle story filled with entertainment and fun.”
