“It Ends With Us is an absolute favorite of mine. I did not want it to end. I went in blind reading it and not knowing that it would be about such a heavy topic as domestic violence. I feel that it was a real depiction of what that can look like. It really makes you think about what you would do if you were in that situation. The author has a way of drawing you in and really making you feel ALL of the emotions. You become invested in all of the characters and their story and development. Although there are very serious thought provoking moments in the book there are also times that make you laugh and feel so much joy for the character’s. It is definitely a MUST read. I have to warn you though, if you love the book the movie is a complete and utter disappointment and I would not recommend watching it.
It Starts With Us was good if you just weren’t ready for this story to end but it definitely was not as strong as the first book in my opinion. I still enjoyed it but it was just a little slower paced and wasn’t as engaging.”
