Cinderella Must Die

By W.R. Gingell
Cinderella Must Die by W.R. Gingell digital book - Fable

Publisher Description

Cinderella is married to The Prince, and the Evil Stepsisters are banished to a pocket dimension for their punishment and rehabilitation. It's Happily Ever After.

Or is it?

Jane and Charlie have been imprisoned for two years now, serving a sentence especially chosen by their stepsister as justice for her sufferings. It seems that they're the only two people in the world besides Ellen who know that Ellen's "sufferings" were a carefully manipulative campaign to win a prince and a crown; the two stepsisters merely collateral damage.

But now, trouble is brewing at the castle: death threats, torn gowns, ruined books.

Is Ellen up to her old tricks, or is someone really trying to kill her? And when even their closest friends didn't believe them innocent the first time, can Jane and Charlie escape the blame a second time if Ellen does die?

Cinderella Must Die Reviews

Beaming Face with Smiling Eyes“Not your typical Cinderella story! I loved all of the twists included in this one! Harvey was a funny bonus!”
“A Cinderella Murder Mystery? Yes Please. I am in love with this book. From the characters to the world to the dialogue, was excellent. I love our main character Jane, and how she handles the hardships she goes through throughout the book. And her sister Charlie, has to be one of my new favorite characters. She was the queen of one liners in this book, and had me laughing out loud. Charlie and Harvey’s banter in the book is one of my favorite things about it. And the murder mystery aspect was incredible. I don’t care for Cinderella retellings usually, I’ve only read three and they were all four and five stars. But I am so happy to add this book to the bunch. I will be recommending this book to quite literally everyone. You will not regret reading this book and the sleep you may possibly loose.”

About W.R. Gingell

W.R. Gingell is a Tasmanian author of urban fantasy, fairy-tale retellings, and madcap science fiction who doesn’t seem to be able to write a book without a body suddenly turning up. She solemnly swears that all such bodies are strictly fictional in nature.

W.R. spends her time reading, drinking a truly ridiculous amount of tea, and slouching in front of the fire to write. Like Peter Pan, she never really grew up, and is still occasionally to be found climbing trees.
