“Wonderfully told story. Strong heroine and hero. I loved the charity aspect. And the backgrounds of the leads was treated with dignity and honesty. Ethan is obviously a decent guy, and for once (a rarity for a Harlequin romance) he wasn't a chauvinistic playboy. Ruby too was no wilting damsel in distress. Their sparring and their conversations (yes they actually conversed and communicated, another rarity!) made this relationship believable. Also since the story is set during Christmas, the descriptions of Caversham Hall and the ball and the Alps were enchanting.”
