“Loved this new series excited for the next book”
“Fantasy is a harder genre for me to enjoy, but this book came highly recommend. I liked it for the most part, I think the only part that annoyed me a bit was that her love interest is the first male character she meets after escaping the prison. Also, (**SPOILER**) the kiss at the end turning her reminded me of Fiona in Shrek. It didn't quite land for me, personally. I have the second book already, so I'll give it a shot but it's certainly possible it'll end up on my DNF list. Not necessarily any fault of these books, it just isn't my favorite genre.”
“I felt like this story was all over the place and a bit messy at times but I did really enjoy the characters. It kept me engaged and I wanted to keep reading and I'm glad I read the story. It won't be a top series for me but it is a fun one and I'm glad I stepped into this world.”
