This is my 1st ali hazelwood read.. and she writes good.. this book gave me "aww" and "cute" moments..made me smile..the characters are adorable..it did gave some educational points on playing chess but I like the plot she did on that..its a cute read.. I would like to read more of her books..”

“Actually a pretty good read that totally sucked me in. Beginning was giving cringe with Gen Z language and teenage angst but I had forgotten it was Hazelwood's YA novel so with that in mind it was still great.
Very classic enemies to lovers but I liked the mc's background. Overall, a very predictable love story but well written with a good ending.”
