Publisher Description

Rudy meets Moneyball in a sexy yet warm-hearted, second-chance football romance for fans of Sarah Adams, Tessa Bailey, Monica Murphy, Kristen Callihan, Lucy Score, and, of course, “Tayvis,” as the analytical, math-nerd, type-A daughter of a tough love coach is assigned to babysit the team’s adrenaline junkie pass rusher.

**DELUXE LIMITED EDITON with interior 4-color character art, designed chapter headers, and stenciled edges!**

Chelsea Parker, 26, knows football, thanks to growing up with a football coach for a father and two linebackers for brothers. But Chelsea’s true passion has always been math: crunching numbers to predict statistical outcomes for everything from football to stocks to romance. Chelsea dreams of merging her two passions to become the first female head of analytics for an NFL team. But for now, she’s got to convince the powers-that-be at her father’s new team, the Mastodons, the worst in the NFL, to give her that entry-level position in the front office.

Luca Maguire, 26, a pass rusher and adrenaline junkie with a famous last name, knows this upcoming training camp with his new team, the Mastodons, will likely be his last, if he can’t get out of his own way long enough to make the cut. The dire nature of his circumstances is the only reason Luca didn’t quit on the spot when Coach Parker assigned his daughter, Chelsea, a statistics-loving, spreadsheet-making math nerd, as Luca’s “personal coach” for the duration of camp. More like his babysitter, if you ask Luca.

Well, okay, Luca didn’t quit for that reason and another one: the thing that happened seven years ago between Luca and Chelsea as strangers, when Luca’s college football team stayed at the same hotel as Chelsea’s mathletes squad. Luca would never admit this to Chelsea, especially not with her being Coach’s daughter and the newly assigned bane of his existence, but the truth is Luca hasn’t stopped thinking about that cute little mathlete who ditched his ass seven years ago, right before their clothes came off, ever since.

Chasing the Rush (Football and Feels #2) Reviews

“Infinite thank yous to Recorded Books and Netgalley for the opportunity to listen to this audiobook. These honest opinions are all my own. Oh my word this has so many of my absolute favorite things in it. I don't even know where to begin. This is about Luca, who has an amazing supportive family. Both of his brothers are huge, I dont just mean in size, football players. Luca has not always felt up to par. Then you have Chelsea, who really is a brilliant mathlete, but also grew up with a very great and famous football coach. So when these two cross paths, it is brief but it is fireworks. Things do not escalate too much because Chelsea knows this cannot happen because they are football rivalries. He does not know who she is though and does not understand why she ran out on him. OMG I am born and raised in the south and in my house we are a house divided. These are not taken lightly. Our rivalry is one of the biggest and longest ones in the history of the south, so I got her!!! This was not an exaggeration. The excitement and giddiness I felt while reading this was unmatched. Oh how I got frustrated though, the way she felt about the devils lair had me howling. The characters only seemed to get better and better. I cannot believe it has taken me this long to read this author. I love these characters to the moon and back. The family dynamic was supreme even when someone was at their lowest point. I reveled in this feeling of not worrying about family drama or them letting each other down. The relationship with Chelsea and her Dad was beautiful. So reading about Luca and her Dad felt like a gift, especially with Luca coming from the rivals side. This was just a fresh and unique change and it was very welcomed. I felt a little lighter after reading this. These narrators had me thinking I was sitting in the room with the characters and I was getting the story from my friends. They were just great. I hope to read so much more of this author. ꧁𝓠𝓾𝓸𝓽𝓮𝓼꧂ 𝙍𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙫𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪’𝙧𝙚 𝙙𝙚𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚, 𝙩𝙤𝙤. 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙯𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩, 𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩?
