“Read with my five-year old: we both really enjoyed this sweet chapter book mystery. Winston does a wonderful job of writing a low-stakes mystery with cliff hanger chapters with a diverse cast of characters, that stars a little girl with juvenile arthritis and her service dog as a neighborhood detective team.
It is also well-structured to support young readers as they explore chapter books, with messages of support and beautiful illustrations.”
“I liked the quick notes at the end of some of the chapters. I also liked the part where the author congratulates readers for how many chapters, pages, and words they read. I also liked the Think Feel Act section at the end.
Review from my 7 year old: It was super duper duper good! If it was 100 stars, I’d give it 100.”
““It was good, I like Wednesday the spy detective. I liked her dog, he looked cute. I like that she looked like me and solves mysteries.” My daughters review (7yrs)”
