“I loved the premise of the book. I was excited to read more about her life. It just wasn’t written in a way that felt compelling. It can’t remember but maybe it’s based off her journal entries. I’m not sure but it was kind of hard to read although I love the theme of empowerment, entrepreneurship, and going against the grain.”
“Really enjoyed this one. I've definitely been conditioned to expect tales of horror from this time and I was so glad this novel focused on all the joy and such a strong female character at that. She doesn't "need" a man, but wants him around anyway... how wonderful is that.”
