“This delightful quick read of a book that is actually two short books in one.
The first story, Canyon Under Siege by Valerie Hansen felt a bit rushed. While the bones of the story (budding romance with a side of danger) was nice, it seemed to jump around and drop the reader off at outcomes and conclusions without a clear path of how you got there.
The second story is Missing In The Wilderness by Jodie Bailey and did not disappoint. Even in such a short story, the background, character development, and intrigue are complete and did not leave me feeling like something was missing. I’m content with the characters and their story; happy for the example of how even in faith we all sometimes falter and have to find out way again. God’s word is woven expertly into the lives of the characters in this faith inspired tale.
