Camp Slasher Lake: Volume Two Reviews

3.5
“Another brilliant anthology of slashers from some brilliant horror authors. While I felt like Volume 1 had stories more to my taste, this one was great in its own way. As is the way with anthologies, you aren't always going to love every story, and that was the case here. But the ones I did love were absolutely amazing. I'm looking forward to finally starting volume 3.”
“Having already read the first one, I knew I had to read this one when it came out. It is just as good as the first one. Another 80's like short story compilation of slasher horror. Out of the 11 stories, there isn't a bad one in the bunch, but as with the first volume, I have my favorites. Evisceration Liberation by Jay Bower Father's Day by Kevin McHugh Skulls on the Shelf by Carl R. Moore Ash Wednesday by Mark Wheaton The Gospel According to Teddy by Darren Todd He Hunts at Night in the Boneyard Bog by Brett Mitchell Kent Custer's Last Stand by D.W. Hitz Those are the ones that I really, really liked, but as I said above, there isn't a bad story in the bunch. If you love 1980's nostalgia and slasher gore, then this is the book for you.”
