“John McEnroe’s second memoir. Highly entertaining. McEnroe is quite the character. Loved the audiobook and his narration. I learned so much about the super brat tennis star turned sports commentator. I had no idea he was so into art and music! He had a lot of interesting takes on the artistic scene today that surprised me. I did find his section on his children and privilege—asking the tough questions can you really be as driven and as grounded when you grow up in a swanky brownstone apartment in the UES—would he had the same drive he did coming from queens if he grew up how his kids did? A fascinating conversation! Fun audiobook for tennis fans. He has a lot of brush with famous people and rock n roll too. I liked his commentary on aging too how the things you feared so much become far less scary and even enjoyable. He talked about his ability to change and adapt as well and learn, which is refreshing. I wish his fist memoir was available via audiobook!! Anyone know why he hasn’t gone and narrated that one too?”

John McEnroe is a former World No. 1 professional tennis player. He won seven Grand Slam singles titles, nine Grand Slam men's doubles titles, and one Grand Slam mixed doubles title. He has also managed a highly successful broadcasting career, and currently works for ESPN at Wimbledon and the US Open, NBC and Eurosport at the French Open, and the BBC at Wimbledon.
In addition, John is a father of six, an art collector, musician and businessman. He and his wife Patty Smyth live in Manhattan. He is the author of the bestselling memoir You Cannot Be Serious.
