AN INSTANT USA TODAY BESTSELLER!
Two opposites decide to test their chemistry with one steamy night together. But will once be enough?
Nova Porter isn’t looking for love, and she certainly has no explanation for her attraction to buttoned-up, three-piece-suit-wearing investment banker Charlie Milford. Maybe it’s his charm? Or maybe it’s his determination to help her fledgling business however he can. Either way, she’s distracted every time he’s around. With her new tattoo studio set to open in her hometown of Inglewild, she doesn’t have time for frivolous flirtations.
In an effort to get Charlie out of her system once and for all, Nova offers a proposition. One night. No strings. They’ll kick their uncomfortable attraction to the curb and return to their respective responsibilities. But their explosive night together scatters their expectations like fallen leaves. And with Charlie in town as the temporary head of Lovelight Farms, Nova can’t quite avoid him.
And Charlie? Well, Charlie knows a good investment when he sees one. He’s hoping he can convince Nova he’s worth some of her time.

“Business Casual is the fourth and final installment of the Lovelight farms series, while I am sad to see this series come to an end. It was a great sendoff to an amazing romance series!
Business Casual follows Charlie & Nova this time around as after one night at a wedding start a no strings attached relationship in hopes to get the other out of their systems. However this arrangement does the opposite and instead of driving them apart it brings them closer together. But their separate and busy things in their lives further complicate their budding romance as they try to figure out their feelings and what each of them wants for themselves.
Charlie and Nova were so perfect for each other and their romance was equal parts heartwarming & steamy. Their scenes together were sexy, sweet, and were fun. Their interactions were hilarious and banter was so funny! I loved them being together and understood why they were conflicted to be together. It was a relief to see that the last conflict was actually an understandable one and was resolved rather quickly. On their own they were great characters, Nova was a tattoo artist who was in the process of opening her own shop. She also struggled with being perfect and putting too much pressure on herself. Her struggles to try to be perfect in front of her family especially her brother was so relatable. Charlie had a similar struggle as he didn't know where he belonged, feeling like a stranger in Inglewild but also a stranger to his own family. He also felt like he had to perform or do favors for people to earn their affection and love. These two fit perfect and were both super supportive of the other to try to work through the issue they had.
The representation of chronic migraines and ADHD was so accurate and I think one of the best representations of these health conditions I have ever read. It was really cool to see how ADHD effects Charlie's life and how he views the world around him, how he has to structure his life around the disability. Nova's migraines and how they can be so severe that they cripple her making her sick is also so relatable to a lot of people who suffer from this.
This was such a warm and happy send off to the series and while I will miss this series and it's characters I am happy to know that this series ended in such a positive note. I can't wait for B.K. Borison's next novel and to revisit this series in the near future.”

“It’s the best couple in this series, but the epilogue ruined it for me 🥲”
