“This is book #4 in the Crisis Rescue Team series but it can be read as a standalone book.
This tells the story of Dr. Jordyn Miller, a forensic anthropologist and Constable Colt Peters and his K-9 Bones.
Someone calls in a tip that there are bones located near the cemetery, Jordyn and her team are called into investigate and end up finding more than one set of bones. There is a threat to Jordyn’s life and being the premier’s daughter Colt and his K-9 dog Bones are brought in to protect her.
The Bone Digger has the killer as been dubbed is always one step ahead it seems. They story gets mor complicated with a hurricane, danger around every corner, family secrets and kidnappings.
Definitely a page turner, edge of your seat book that you have to keep reading to figure out who is behind the killings and why. It is also a story of second chances throughout the book with multiple characters.
This is one of my favourite books by Darlene. Can’t wait to read her next one.

I found myself rooting for characters, reading quickly through the more suspenseful parts just to find out what would happen next, and perfectly satisfied with the ending.”
